One of my latest books made an appearance on Where the Board Books Are, The Children’s Board Book Review. A big thank you to Kelsey Marie Paff for including it in her 9 Board Books for Easter post.
I really loved working on this book with all the pattern-like illustrations hiding the sweet pop-up animals. I tend to choose softer palettes, so working with the bright, vibrant colors of each different scene was really visually exciting for me. I’m hoping it encourages me to bring a bit more boldness into my future work…
