hello!

I'm Shannon Hays—designer, illustrator, surface pattern designer and doodler. I began my art career more than twenty years ago as a graphic designer. After many years of designing logos, corporate collateral, trade show booths and brochures,
I discovered a new passion for illustration.

I happily spend my days drawing cute characters and creating playful patterns. It's been such a joy to see my designs come to life on books, stationery, stickers, wall art and fabric. 

When I'm not in my studio, you can usually find me walking my dogs, strolling on the beach, or seeking out the best ice cream on the seacoast of New Hampshire with my husband and three amazing daughters.
